Recently when I'm gaming, my pc will automatically black screen with red border and automatically shut down.

Is it a case of a faulty gfx? Tried resitting the rams already

thanks in advance :)

GFX is a hd5850

since you are on Win7 and where the box didnt BSOD check your eventvwr as that will tell you the errors causing the emergency shutdown... work from there.

it shows nothing serious that can be causing that. might have to check again.

normally i just forced restart when the red border appears with the black screen. so the error message is something unexpected happened that cause the power to restart.
