Hi,

Does China didi driver accept long trip of about 200 km ?
I see on app that the journey take about 2.5 hrs, is such long distance ride common in China ?

would there Pitstop or the driver would usually follow app and drive all the way there?

They do but rare and dependent on where's the destination. Might factor in the return trip say to and from if there's low chances of getting pax back i.e. city to rural area.
I believe breaks etc. can be discussed with driver? Definitely have to take breaks and for route wise, will be strictly following GPS as per app selectable by user (you).
Otherwise, driver might be penalised (suspended/investigated) if and when issues arises from my understanding.

If I am the driver, I will not want to go.... unless u r willing to pay for my ride back.

Just go download ctrip then navigate to 包车 it's by block hours and distance. I think around sgd50 for 5 seater, 8hours, 100km. If more than more expensive.

Caveat is you might need a Chinese mobile number

The Didi app is the wrong place to find a solution to your requirement, as it sounds like you need to charter a vehicle with the driver. You can look in Trip.com. Such a long distance is obviously not uncommon if you want to get somewhere in China. I am not sure if it is relevant to your case, but for many cities, taxi drivers have to apply to their management before they can drive outside of their city limits.

EG. The typical Beijing taxi driver will not drive you to Zhangjiakou from a street hail. Advance booking is required, and a negotiated fare applies.

didi do accept. they will have inter city travel/ inter state travel fee on the app itself. i just did a 100km ride with didi recently in china.

Yup, I took it a similar long distance trip too.
Didi do provide such services, imo still cheaper than off app.
