Hi guys,

Sorry for the newbie question, i would like to ask a question which i got confused myself after checking with the KE hotline. My understanding is that DCS is linked to CDP and DCS account is where u get the sales proceed when you sell a stock. EPS is linked to a separate bank account and is used for settlement of trade contract.

Or is it true that EPS account is where u settle the trade and get the sales proceed?

Isn't direct crediting service a way for you to get dividends from the stocks you are holding in cdp?

EPS is just a way for you to transfer funds for buying / from selling of shares.

DCS for dividends only, EPS for buying /selling.

Both are linked to your bank account.

One way to distinguish is:
DCS is between you and SGX/CDP.
EPS is between you and your Stock Broker(s).

Hence, when you sell a stock, you must be using a Broker to sell and receive the proceeds, therefore, it is EPS.

You may get confused because perhaps you are using the same bank(eg. DBS savings) for both your DCS account and EPS account.
