Don't think the motherboard backplane can align to the backplate without the standoff. Besides the risk of shorting the motherboard.

good idea. buy mobo and cpu locally since the price not much diff from amazon. then get them to mount it on the case with ram.

o wait still need psu...

basically just get the gpu from amazon?
