the one at peninsular plaza is under similar group of restaurants. price cheap...food is only so so only. Better go for quality rather than quantity for these kinda food.

tot the weekday dim sum at Zhou's Kitchen was very gd value for money. Service was quite prompt too, though we had to remind staff several times regarding some 'forgotten dishes'

Remember to tell them you do not want the crackers on the table to avoid being charged for it! The tea and towels will be necessary la.

peach garden @ thomson plaza...16.80++

gd anot?

Just tried it yesterday. Quality is not very good. Some of the stuff I think I buy from those hawker centre dim sum stalls also taste better. Best stuff from the buffet were the har gao and Walls ice cream. And they do not serve custard buns with their buffet. Total + tax, 1 pax almost $20.

any reviews on Mariott's Wan Hao 1-4-1 dim sum buffet on Mon-Wed?

the food wise - taste is not bad..
food selection - only about 20+ to 30 selection..
service is a bit slow - and its quite difficult to catch the attention of the servers..

for the amount that you pay even for 1-for-1.. i would rather have ala-carte at crystal jade.. IMHO

Can someone also confirm the dim sum standard at Red Star? At the beginning of this thread, it was condemned. However, on this page it was recommend. A recent review in edmw tagged the standard as ok/serviceable, nothing to shout about.

IMO, i love the food and service at red star..

went there last mth and the food is SUPERB.. the waiting is damn long but luckily when we reached there, there was no one so we got a table straightaway.. but awhile later, the queue is damn long..

i will definitely go back there for more dim sum
