Dimensional Funds

Seems like Dimensional Funds are now available to retail investors according to Wilfred Ling. Tried asking FSM and DollarDex and they both do not have Dimension Funds on their platforms.

I'm aware that iFAST has them - checked CIMB's funds page and they use the iFAST platform, but they charge a 1% wrap fee. Not sure what the fees are like for Providend and the like; seems like a new startup named Endow.us also uses 1 of the Dimension funds (Dimension World Equity) for their robo-investing solution, but their platform fee is ~0.6% and requires a $10,000 minimum investment with subsequent monthly increments of $100.

1. Any idea which is the cheapest platform to access Dimension funds, and;
2. Any feedback on the funds, particularly the Dimension World Equity, Global Core Equity and Global Targeted Value funds?

For eligible investors, FSMOne minimum holding for Vanguard funds (Irish Domiciled) is only $1k., down from the $20k mentioned by Wilfrid Ling, but the platform fee is a problem...

My general opinion on Dimension is that they're pretty solid if the regular three-fund portfolio is too boring for you, but it's not really worth actively seeking them out - and it's definitely not worth paying a 1% wrap fee. They're good fund managers, but they're not THAT good.

As expensive if not more than most of the local robos, and we consider the local robos to be expensive.

Anyone else know if this can be bought using SRS funds and on what platform?

If really 0.81% fee, I'd go for LionGlobal instead.

Don't bother. The big selling point of Dimension funds is that they're low-cost index-ish things with a slight factor tilt. If you're paying an extra 65bps for them, they just end up being horrifically expensive index-ish things.

As we've said god-knows-how-many times on the forums, there is no estate tax on UK-listed Irish-domiciled ETFs like IWDA, VWRD, CSPX, or EIMI. Why does this keep coming up?

Not referring to estate tax. But the admin procedures the kin has to do. How best to handle that

For a locally supported platform, i suppose its easier.

What about IB? I suppose its DIY?
