What is a director legally allowed to claim as director's fees in a pte ltd?
Is there any limits to what may be claimed? Also, Is the director legally allowed to assign accounting discrepancies as directors fees in order to balance the books?

As far as I know, there is no limit to declaring director's fee.

If accounting discrepancy is too much a hassle to resolve, I dont really bother if it is debited to director's account or director's fee. But if it is a credit balance, I will not agree that it be credited to any personal account, except income.

Why are there discrepancies in the first place? Money stolen or whatever?

What? No! That's incredibly dodgy.

If you know someone doing this, your first call should be to the CAD.
