Erm not expert, but think from many a story there, impression it has nothing much to do with environment or what.

Its more cause they cannot allow people to idolise anyone much, except their zu-xi. Its to soliditify their hold on power and the people of sort. :s22:
You idolize your ancestor? A simple ban on burning to save environment also can twist until to solidify rule. lol better eat medicine.

poor ah tiong voicing his displeasure about his country, but funny thing is, surely got foreign (non-china) CCP worshippers dissing this ah tiong for talking about his own country.

actually a lot of tiongs think this way already especially after they tasted wealth via capitalism and exposure to the real world, it's just they are keeping their mouth shut for survival
diam diam leave the country and enjoy life, freedom, in real first world countries.
