Disabling SLI

I really wonder why disabling SLI requires that background running programmes like Origin, GOG, Microsoft Store to be closed?!? Damn irritating.. what has using or disabling 2 graphics card got to do with gaming software?

Why in the first place you want to disable SLI when you SLIed.

Nvidia software is like this. Want to enable or disable surround monitors also must close this close that . Duplicate and extend monitor also need to click so many times, not user frirndly at all.Amd no such problem.
