Ya was wondering too why so many issues, not sure if it's the xps 13 only or dell products in general.
Bro if you have looked further in HWZ, you can find my review for XPS 13 9343, I am the pioneer of this laptop when they first launched it.
I reviewed about that power button, shutting down or sleeping whichever command you set in power options. It happens when you wanna pull out your USB, and you moved the USB upwards.
Let me tell you this is a hardware design flaw by DELL, and surprisingly they still didn't fix it in 9350, and doubt so for 9360. Very loose power button.
Day 1: The technician first came down and change my display panel it didn't help
Day 2: He came 2nd time and try to fix it infront of me (he didn't know I'm actually also a laptop techie

). Initially he can't fix it but when I turn my head away to meddle with something for like only 2 mins, he suddenly said fixed. I tested and it is working BUT i felt the power button to be
extremely stiff, I asked why (but I knew what he did, but I cannot unscrew infront of him and show him, fearing that he might say I fiddled it myself beforehand and caused the issue), he didn't give me an answer and just say no choice must like this.
After he left, I straight away unscrew them and look at the hole of the USB cable and power button. I tell you, these 2 components are very near each other, as you know the power button outside is just a upper button to press the inner small button to initiate the power button commands,
so when you shifted your USB dongle up/down, it will accidentally pressed that internal button, this is the whole reason why the power button is loose and shifting of any USB dongle will trigger the power button.
Oh I forgot to mention something, how the technician fix it?
Apparently he found out the design flaw, but since he is outsource technician and not directly by Dell, he had to fix it no matter what to hit quota.
So, he simply roll a piece of paper to make it thick and attempt to separate the USB and the power button so when you shift USB dongle, it is harder for it to reach.
I removed the paper using a tweezers and the problem persists as to my expectation.
Day 3 & 4: I waited for 2 days to make the complain again, avoiding any suspicious act done by me

, and I requested for a full refund, and DELL Australia (our SEA DELL HQ is in Australia) refunded me in full amount in about 2 weeks.
PS: I loved the XPS lineup with their 4k and infinity display, and I specifically went down to Best Denki and looked at their XPS 15 and XPS 13, TBH i tested them and it indeed went into sleep for XPS13 (Sleep is default setting).
And then I looked at the XPS 15 9550, I saw that the USB on the right is far away from the power button and I went to Challenger (member) and bought my XPS 15 9550 4k touch and I am very happy about it
