Discussion | Beverage Container Return Scheme BCRS

[BBClone]

When is BCRS cans collection going to become a significant part of Singapore‘s GDP?

[Joseph12]

the coffeeshops, kopitiams and F&B outlets are working those machines overtime to be honest.

Seen many workers after work drag along 1 full trash bag just to earn back the $$$.

Ya
But for some, the money all goes to the company not them
Cos they don't charge the customers the ten cents

I think some "absorb" the ten cents cos they don't charge it and prices don't seem to be higher to include the ten cents

[Krabs.]

machine + technicians + drivers + sorters

2 human on site

+ countless neighbourhood "hunters"

usa and china going full speed with robot and AI to reduce human requirement
SG go opposite way ....... pump more human in for scrap plastic that singapore itself doesn't use , because sg doesn't have enough plastic manufacturing to require the dirty plastic (like the weight base of stand fan)
