after this BCRS. we don care anymore. just make sure the 10 cents we got go return only.

There was no tangible benefit to business and consumer technically.

More likely a large quantity of bottles are just thrown away and donated.

My old hse got one machine 80% of time always full, new hse don’t have any mc so we throw for 0.1 into the recycling built in bin. Aunty rather mybfd than save for recyclabel rubbish in the house

Those recycle machines undrr HDB block.

You get QR code and then you deposit items in specific bin.

The app for it , isnt even linked to the return stations.

I have QR code and can also login with phone number to register a deposit , the app though doesnt recognise my number

because im being forced to pay taxes, which funded this entire circus .

And its actually taking up more time [ to collect, queue and dispose ] im making more loses base off time and productivity.

yes, even if im not doing anything, im resting, but because of some ret-a-rd in the govt body thought this was a brilliant idea to re-use whatever previously purchased vending machines [ else how they managed to put it EVERYWHERE WITH security camera ?

i was at a shopping mall over weekend, and saw a foreign worker worker with 3 large trash bags of empty containers, feeding the machine 1 bottle at a time

How to feed in more than 1 bottle at a time?

I definitely lose by paying more and not recycling

That said, i saw a queue of 4-5 people recycling. Each has like 1-2 small bags of bottles and cans

Waste water : wash the bottle
Waste plastic bag : carry them to machine
Waste $ : can n bottle rejected by machine.
Angry: go all the way there n machine not working…

since BCRS introduced my kids get around 50 cents to 70 cents extra every week... cos i drink canned drinks from office and bring back the empty cans to recycle and give them the money on weekends.... the pantry aunty setup a carton box asking others to dispose their washed cans inside for me to bring home... make me become office karang guni....

TS not wrong, if I had been picking up others cans n recycle... 50 cans per day would have save the price of 1 meal
