i can't speak for the FW... maybe it is decent side hustle for him... but for locals this cannot be categorized under any 财 lah..... i do it so my kids to learn about recycling and they get some bonus pocket money out of it... today recycled 13 cans and 1 bottle... so each of my kids get $0.70... they happy can liao...

Nothing wrong. Honest living. If sinkies throw away the bottles , they recycle, nothing wrong. I saw cleaners at city digging trash bins to look for bottles.
