They cant afford to embrasse the establishment so keep mum
I think they will just abort the project one or two years later when the craze is over.
Too much effort and too little benefit to suck up the unit.

There is some green movement machine that was aborted one year later due to POOR response.
Cannot rem what it is at the moment.

By then musical chair oredi done; leeminds of a case when the AVA director was summoned back by her former employer for investigation during her tenure as Commander over potential lapses. Unless its so serious there will be no accountability

Dun think it is that serious.
Just the commercial entity decided that it is time to end their secondary school project.
Dun think the project will be making any money in the long run.
It is better to cut loss early.

It all boils down to one thing --- Control!

They can suka suka change the algorithm at the backend, remotely, wireless, ota.

This is just another mechanism to keep sinkies preoccupied or busy, while sinkies queue in droves to deposit empty bottles and cans for measely payouts, all the while forgetting why we have to resort to doing this in the first place.

You want change, vote in more oppies, then you can see how fast things and policies change.
Especially when P@P's lost more GRCs and SMCs or when oppies won more than 1/3 seats in the parliament.

But if you only trust and believe in P@P, good luck and happy queueing!

Really eat too full nothing to do.
Such things also can report to newspaper.
IMHO.
I never report the BCRS machine that was offline for the two instance when I want to use it.
I also never report the BCRS machine that has error when i want to use it but then was ok a moment later when i don't have the returns with me.

After accumulating close to 20 100Plus drink cans, a retiree tried to recycle them at a Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) machine.

To his bewilderment, he was repeatedly rejected by two machines.

The 76-year-old man, surnamed Wu, told Shin Min Daily News that he visited two reverse vending machines at Blocks 165 and 144 Tampines Street 12 on Oct 14.

Despite the containers bearing the deposit mark, neither machine could process them.

"I tried several times, but it was always the same even if I used another container," he lamented.

Unable to receive his 10-cent deposit refund, Wu brought his cans back home.

About two weeks later, he contacted Shin Min to share that he was finally able to recycle some cans when he visited one of the machines again on Oct 26.

The scheme's operator told Shin Min that its investigations determined that the error was an isolated incident caused by a recent system update which affected its identification means.

The machines have since been serviced and are now operating normally.

All these aren't news
Happened before will happen again
These aren't well designed stuff

Of course it will suit me if everything is working and available but Singapore is like that now

Why people expect things to be working in Singapore ?
I know this isn't civil service but i ever asked a civil servant and his reply to me for another thing is do you make mistakes? I mean its not a mistake. Its a system wide issue they don't have resources & wherewithal to make good

Imagine if Japanese civil servant when faced with an obvious c0ck up tells public do you make mistakes? What will happen to him

Had to keep re-inserting some cans

Two of my cans kept rejected so I am now holding onto them. They are large Sapporo beer cans from Donki with pasted BCRS stickers.

Go to another machine
If cans cannot even be read by machine then it's a goner
If it can be read then there's a chance

Ya, gonna try another machine later
When you were out, should have tried on another machine
Unless you stay at a place where in a ten mile radius there's only 1 machine

Anyway I mentioned before
I tried i think 6 different machines for 1 bottle before all at same route i was at
All couldn't work
