Refund got problem then got ticket then may need like 30business days to get back the 10 cents... very good to laugh

If we buy drinks like from China (kangshifu or what) still will kanna this?

Where all the 10cents go to which pocket if no one claim back and/or those cannot successfully claimed?

Why only drinks and not all other plastic containers like cookies n other food or what?

If got need to refund I won't buy if can avoid... but now they print like not obvious...

So many complaints in all social media !! Machine cannot work and many many scolding G ? Many say it is a scam to cheat $$$ ?

Ownself bring water bottle with plain water will solve all issues.

Once the machines empty all the time then the plan will fail on its own.

Plastic RTD bottles bought from overseas/ those without labels cannot use the recycling machine because they are not made of plastic? The objective is not to promote higher recycling rate and less plastic waste?

This has to be the most ridiculous scheme yet.

Initially, I steer clear from all the $0.10 bcrs water, but soon majority of the water comes with this label.

I tried to get the refund (by finishing the drink right outside NTUC, then feed to the machine).

Now, I'm just super lazy to look for the machine. Just finish, throw it away and pretend that there was an additional $0.10 tax on my drink.

Hope the machine continue to waste their money (on machine/hardware, installation , regular cleaning/clearing/maintenance/licensing, electricity, space rental and etc), so they would drop the project.

then they scared some gian png kia act smart, go and import foreign can drinks without goin thru local import duties, and make profits from the 10 cent refunds

so smart alec scholars go and make the legit can drinks as identifiable as local approved, so go thru simi bar code simi complicated refund systems

really is nothing to do ownself go find things to do

Start throwing new bottles and cans in machine without buying them
Get refund , take ferry to Batam

Probably tie up with the 10 cents apparently they made suppliers made them

So to all tally up , they can't pay now but pay when the new bottles are made.and imported into Singapore

Its all tied up with 10 cents sellers of drinks paid to government

Not exactly sure how it works cos buyer also pays 10 cents.and both buyer and seller get back 10.cents

I agree.. they should allow overseas bottle to be returned.. just don't refund 10 cents for those bottles.. not difficult to do that if it's for recycling purpose.. since most machine is still under used..

If I want to throw it in the recycle bin why would I walk all the way to a BCRS machine? Scam my 10 cent.

A message on the machine said: “We’re sorry, barcode is unreadable or damaged. Return this to any recycling bin near you. Remove and insert another container, or tap REFUND”.
