So to all tally up , they can't pay now but pay when the new bottles are made.and imported into Singapore

Dun think gahmen purposely want to scam us the tiny 10 cents refund... they have better things to do and much larger profits to make by selling $120k coe,....

most prob they cant see the implications when they initially launch the refund system... now malu liao try to recover by adding simi security safeguards simi complicated systems, to continue on with the over complicated recycle refund system

limpeh also got the same error when returning the can... limpeh bought a can of pokka oolong tea at coffeeshop, drink liao want to refund, got the sg return logo... go to the machine at emptyuc, insert the can and it say barcode error... end up i crush the fcuking can and throw... *******

5¢ and 10¢ to encourage more people to reduce, reuse, and recycle?
A lot of people are still paying for plastic bags.

The process of return and refund is a hassle for some. Need to look for the machine.
Is the payment immediate or do we need to wait to get back the 10¢?
Will the machine reject those cans and bottles that are unwashed?

In Feb I saw a news article that says bottles with the 10cent logo will only be common from October

The machine gone live on April. By Oct or end of this year, maybe the machines will start breaking down one by one cos it needs servicing
