COE and fuel so expensive, they now have to dedicate manpower around Singapore just to empty the machine supporting the whole country's consumption + electricity + hardware maintenance.. how is this sustainable??? who is paying the bills?

You voted for this
According to LKY doctrine voting for them means they can do whatever they want

Here's another of my insight on this thing

Thats the thing

To the company's credit at least they insist the bags of crushed cans etc from machines are ZIP TIED
So people can't steal cans etc and redo again
Or cut label and stick on other bottles

HOWEVER here's the thing
It doesn't matter
Whether you crush a 'Singapore" bottle.or " China" bottle sticking the singapore label, why does it matter

Because the 10c tariff is the thing sustaining the program. Sticking a fake QR code on a bottle is one of the cheapest most bohua ways to get charged with fraud.

Dignity imo is overrated. Also I suspect that you might have confused it with pride.

Ultimately you can't eat either.

The BCRS scheme in fact has allowed a certain group of people the means to keep their dignity. It may not even have been at a cost to their pride, because unfortunately those individuals probably lost that long ago.

Make no mistake, this is very likely one of the planned outcomes. Things in Singapore rarely aren't.
Sic. What kind of work allows one to keep their dignity at all times?

Different tiers, but all the same imho. The only difference is one is under the public eye while the other is under some private places.

There are people from poor countries, arrive here as visitors. But working illegally without MOM approval. BCRS collection is legit if the scale is worth the effort and time.

Work illegally under BCRS?
Make how much?
Earn $15 a day that's 150 cans a day
Let's say 6000 cans a month
Thats only $600 a month

Not really
You need to know characteristics of machine
If possible put label on tree branch and claim
Or those bbt plastic cups etc

& Grace is incompetent
By the time she realised the scammers could go off with millions or 6 figures

Anyway what gives you impression Grace cares about other's money
