Have this problem with my desktop.

My desktop will freeze up after switching it on for an hour, after which a BSOD will appear, then will have to restart the computer.

So now, I have to switch off my PC (must be 'off', cannot restart), and then the 1-hour timer will start again.

It is always an hour. Can anyone help? TIA

Two solutions to your problem:
1) RMA your monitor (if still under warranty) and then try it out again.
2) Sell away ur monitor and buy a new one.

It's a monitor problem? Thought it's a display card problem. Can explain what is mostly the issue?

Try reseat your RAM modules and see if the BSOD problems goes away. If it still persist, boot with 1 RAM modules. If booting with 1 RAM module still doesn't fix the BSOD, try boot with the 2nd RAM module. I am assuming you have 2 RAM modules.
