https://www.displayninja.com/what-is-gpu-scaling/

i am using GPU Scaling with Integer scaling on my AMD GPU and so far it is good match for my LG monitor.
After reading your post, i try out gpu scaling over the default display scaling and this solve my screen flickering issue when play 3DS emulator on full screen.

I just got a free new monitor prism+ c240 which require setup. Any comments about this monitor ?Also justI wonder between gpu scaling and display scaling, which is better ?

i have no experience on prism monitor. looking at the spec you can set the monitor refresh rate to 75hz is recommended for less flickering.

as for the scaling only you can test on your usage which is best.

AMD gpu scaling working perfectly with my G8 together with freesync premium pro turn on is another level of smoothness.
