How you guys usually dispose unwanted but still functioning midi tower PC casing in good condition (no rusting)? Front panel audio jacks and USB ports are working fine. A bit bulky to carry on public transport.

  • Like not much resale value to sell away on Ebay, forums, or some classified ads sites. Maybe not even worth $5 or $10?
  • Sell to karung guni for a few cents?
  • Give away to charities that do PC refurbishing for needy families?

Suggestions?

I often give the stuff I no longer use to Salvation army. The usually sell it afterwards, and use the money to fund their programs for the needy.

I wouldn't recommend the Salvation Army if you're giving stuff away; they discriminate according to the beneficiaries' adherence to Christian values.

If your casing is decent you can usually sell it on for at least $20 with the buyer self-collecting.
