oh..... so even lose so what.....you seem like very hate open source software??
i don't think you bought Photoshop or office..
you must be download using torrent from the net or get cdkey or keygen...
For your kind information, I do not really hate open sourced applications or Operating Systems.
However, I cannot say the same for those Zeolots who seems to consists mainly of Linux users.
Human beings should never be judged by what OS they uses. It's a free world.
Also, due to the reason of being 'free' and open-sourced, some apps pales in comparison by those closed-source ones; eg Utorrent as one very good example?
Free alternatives doesn't mean they are bad, but mainly lack of the commitment to create something that surpasses it's 'original' form.
For example, why not create a 'office' suit that can edit pictures like 'gimp' too?
That will give users a lot of flexibility even though it will complicate the cord.
I have forgotten how many times when I'm using the 'photo editor' in the office suit, being limited by what the program offers. However, if we can combine both together with one easy click, it's still a start.
The morale here is "Innovate, not imitate".
This not only brings a fresh breath and interest into the open sourced community, but will bring along talents that are sorely needed, especially the graphics division to work in new projects.
After working with so many non-it savvy colleagues, all they want is the 'ease of use' from the computer without delving deep into the innards of computer, or the archaic commands that requires memorization of them.
That is at the least priority of their minds because they have other things in work that they need to remember.
One need to re-examine the success story of other working business working model and why the adaptation of it by the masses.
Perhaps their success is based on 'human technology' and by human technology, is by taking into consideration of human thinking, ease of use and appeal factor.
One very good example of this would be the iPod which has sold millions and steadily gathering more each day.
Why iPod? It's beautiful outlook and it's ease of use?
As long as one is stubborn, moving forward will be not be easy.
