Dividend pay out question

I have a question .Let say the ex-dividend fall on 24 April 15 (friday) . Will i entitled for the dividend if i sell it on 24 April itself ? Or i need to wait until 27 April( monday)then can sell and get the dividend at the same time ? Thank

Yes. Once it's gone ex, you are entitled to the dividend.

well technically, if u sold it on 24th, u were also holding onto it on 24th.

Usually on ex date u will see the price drop drop drop lol best to use market order and pray u get the best price possible

u can sell on xd but u will still have the divs.

once x div, buy no more div, sell still have.
