Anybody interested in a short getaway to Khao Lak and Similan over Christmas, i.e. 24 Dec to 28 Dec?
Khao Lak is a small reosrt town about 100km north of Phuket and much less rowdy place than Phuket (thus a good place for relaxation). The Similan islands is a national marine park and one of the top-10 diving spots in the world.
Proposed itinerary:
24 Dec (Wed): Evening flight out. Reach Phuket airport at 8pm. Reach Khao Lak hotel 9pm.
25 Dec (Thu): Chill at Khao Lak. Beaches, scooter around.
26 Dec (Fri): Snorkelling or diving trip to Similan. Overnight tent at Similan
27 Dec (Sat): Snorkel some more. Back at Khao Lak at around 5pm
28 Dec (Sun): 10am flight from Phuket back to SG
