[DIY] Advice on building dekstop?

Hi all, am new to this so hoping to get advice and recommendations. Mainly for gaming, watching movies etc.
Budget will be around ~1.5 - 1.7k I think
The parts I've roughly chosen after looking @ the price lists and googling for reviews are as follows :

Gigabyte GA z97x Gaming 7 + i7 4770
Crucial PC-3 1600 DDR3 (8GB)
MX100 256GB
Western Digital 2TB Purple AV
MSI GTX770 Twin Frozr 2GB Gaming
ASUS 24X DVDRW SATA
Super Flower Leadex Gold 750W
Cooler Master X6

Not sure if its sufficient / overkill or if anything is missing...

& on the tradepac price lists for graphic cards, there's A and B. (B being more expensive)

Wifi stick is for connect wirelessly, add on if needed. The prices are bundle and non-bundle prices.

I think they quote A for you if you buy a lot from them (just try to cut prices either way after making sound calculation)

Thanks ; will need the wifi stick definitely because modem is 2 floors up.

Is it more advisable to buy from TP or PCT? Will be bringing thick skinned bargain hunter friends for the record haha.
Should be able to get discounts right? Looking at the recommendations, if include monitor etc I think can reach 2k already
