Hi all PC pro,
I need some advices here. My acer aspire Z5761 of 4 years die on me while playing Bioshock infinite and it's time i venture into the the DIY regime for better cost-for-quality gaming.
Would be grateful for any advice offer here.

I sort of got a spec from my friend already, but it is slightly above my budget.
Budget 2k (it was 1.6k initially), current spec is 2.3k.
I need wifi. Is there any part I can cut back to meet my budget ?

Mobo/ Processor: i5-4690 + ASUS Z97 PRO WIFI AC 657
GPU: MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G Golden Edition 579
Mermory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 225
Power: fsp aurum 600W 109
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD 219
MONITOR : Dell U2414H Black 23.8" 359
CASING: CASING COOLER MASTER SCOUT 142
DVD: 25

reuse HDD: SEAGATE 1TB

Games:-
Bioshock infinite (1st priority, wants high or ultra high graphic setting if possible)
CS: global offensive
Dota 2
Skyrim (low priority)

are you planning to use wireless internet or lan cable?
is it possible that you reuse your dvd drive so as to save a little more money?

try going for homeplug

Cpu + MOBO : MSI B85-G41 Pc Mate + i5 4460 = $357
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws-X 1600mhz ( 4GBx2pcs ) = $112
GPU: MSI GTX 970 4GB Gaming O.C = $579
SSD: CRUCIAL MX100 256GB = $152
PSU: Superflower hx 600m gold modular = $108
Homeplug: Sineoji PL1800EP AV2 MIMO 1800 Mbps Kit = $149( Buy from challenger)
(if you insist on this two)
Case: COOLER MASTER SCOUT = $142
Monitor: Dell U2414H Black 23.8" = $359
Total = $1958

Note: Buy from tradepac and DIY yourself unless stated otherwise
You don't really need 16gb of ram as 8gb is sufficient enough for gaming unless you are into editing stuff e.g. photoshopping

( Just saw that it is an AIO lol.. )

Hey Ivanykx1,

thanks! think i will go for assembly bah, cause not much experience with it.
thanks for the RAM advice, yup will keep to 8gb.
Might have to do some engineering simulation in the future but I guess i will upgrade the RAM when i really do then.

FYI just visited SLS yesterday, SF hx600m is OOS in SG.

Can go for Jian's recommendation of SF Leadex or for around the same price, go for FSP S Aurum 600W @ $109 from PCThemes. Non modular though.
