DIY gaming pc

Finally after years of procrastination, i want to start DIY a gaming pc but i am a noob.

Can someone recommend me a mobo i saw there are so many choices...

Also for GPU, why i saw many type with same name but different brand? Like MSI gtx 1060 Asus gtx or gigabyte gtx 1060. Is there a big difference. What about geforce gtx....

What casing is good now. I need something that can hide the cables.

O read on Google about radiator but cannot understand, izzit it same as a fan.. lastly thermal paste.... Necessary right.

Ps. My pc of 7 years don't seem to have all this ...

Mobo don't think too much. First of all, set a budget and expectation.

Gpu brands have different cooling, overclocked speed etc. Not important for u yet.

Casing wise budget is tecware f3. Mid tier can go for xigmatek front liner. Higher can look at fractal.

Thermal paste not necessary. U could use stock cooler which comes with preapplied paste. But quality might not be as good as aftermarket ones.

I be setting maybe 1 to 2 k... I want to start by buying a casing first, PSU, mobo CPU.

Also its wise to list for what purpose you would need the PC to satisfy. I.e Programs or games you plan to run so people can recommend to you the necessary parts.

Just for gaming purpose and it those low end game like Lord of the ring online where I can play ultra high setting.

Also main purpose is to have a pc that can last year's to.come to handle maybe next five years program without a overhaul like what am doing now.
