1) Name all software that you are using with this rig.

2) Overclocking?

3) Budget?

4) Patriot RAMs? Where are you planning to get them from?

5) That Crucial MX100 512GB SSD is seriously cheap, where are you planning to get this SSD from?

6) No OS?

1) mainly for gaming purpose: playing games like CS, dota 2, bf 4

2) OC - not really

3) budget around +/- 350 for cooler, casing and psu

4) & 5) from amazon.

1) If not overclocking, you do not need an Intel Z-mobo or a K-CPU. The i5 4690K will perform just like a normal i5 and the mobo will perform like any other old mobo unless you overclock. Just get an i5 4460 and a B85 mobo and save lots of $$$. If not doing any OC, you will also not need an aftermarket cooler. The Intel stock cooler will do.

2) If not doing OC, get the DDR3-1600 version of the RAMs. The different in reaction time of the rig is only measured in mere milliseconds and not worth paying extra $$$ for.

3) You sure you want the Gigabyte GTX 970? The Zotac GTX 970 Twin Fan is going for just $448 and will also work just as well and perform around the same.

4) Casing: Corsair 200R ($85), PSU: Superflower HX 600 ($99)
