Hi all,

anybody got recommendation for a slim/small casing that can fit 2 hdd, 1 gfx. looking to retire my old small slim tower lenovo pc.
budget maybe $900-$1000, no need too fanciful.
2GB gfx, i5 4460, 8gb ddr3 ram, 2 x 1 tb hdd can already.

OS i have my own win7 & win 8, ms office i have my own mass license too :D

dun really game alot, maybe dota2, CSGO, GTA etc. just medium settings will do.

quite hard to find nice n scalable small/slim casing, tats y always buy stock brand de.
If all else fails, i will buy a stock Asus desktop:

looks great bro, i did some googling to see the specs. but this one can fix 2 HDD inside?
is the 300w PSU sufficient?? for say GTX750 card or 760 card

According to In-Win product page, it has 1 external bay (5.25" x 1, 3.5" x 1) and 1 internal bay (3.5" x 1 or 2.5" x 1).

With the appropriate adapter and if you do not have a DVD drive, you can use that external bay for your HDD. But suggest you check with the shop before buying. :D

For a great CNY ahead:

CPU+MB: Intel Core i5-4460 + ASRock H81M-HDS @ $296
RAM: Crucial DDR3-1600 CL11 8GB @ $96
GPU: Zotac GTX 750 1GB [Low Profile] @ $170
SSD: Crucial MX100 256GB @ $152
HDD: Western Digital Purple 2TB @ $126
ODD: Samsung 24X CD/DVD Writer [OEM] @ $21
CASE+PSU: In Win BL634 + Powerman IP-S300FF7-2 300W TFX [80 Plus] @ $109
Such system should consume around 140W at full load.
Occupies just 11.5 litres.
This chassis is ideal for all your requirements.

Total: $970

Optional:
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB X2 @ $136
Don't understand why you need 2x 1TB HDD when you can have 1x 2TB leaving the other HDD bay vacant for future expansion.

Buy all from Tradepac, #05-18.

Sry to hijack ts thread but is there any recommendations for itx or matx casing that can fit in a asus strix gtx 970?

Sent from Sony D6653 using GAGT
The Asus GTX 970 Strix is about 280mm long. 280mm GPU clearance is not hard for most M-ATX cases to meet, but only some ITX cases will have 280mm GPU clearances and these ITX cases are usually rectangular in shape, hope you don't mind.

It is the cheapest most of the time, but prices can get even cheaper if you know how to haggle further.

No 2GB variant for low profile ones. Anyway, your demands don't really require 2GB.

Local market hard to find AFOX branded graphics card. Power consumption and heat dissipation can be a problem for other cards.
