superflower modular gold 500/550
casing is the last concern, can be anything

helping friend build a light gaming pc, he only can have a budget of 850 max. any recommendations are welcomed!

Pump into ssd crucial mx100 ~ $148

Probably the rest of the budget goes into higher tier gpu. But honestly if he gonna play just that 2 games then pointless to go up also.

Probably a slightly better chassis.

Somewhere shorted already. Take out everything.

Put mobo on mobo box. Attached only 24pin and cpu 4pin. Next is put in cpu (if havent), and rams. No need hdd nor ssd. Try boot.

I also realised on gpu, their is some missing part on the shiny yellow part connecting into mobo slot. Missing the tip. Only 2 of them are missing. Looks clear cut. Is that alright?

I think asrock h81m hds is 4pin. Yes i remembered is 4pin. Just fixed one for someone.

As for the gpu. It should be fine.
