[DIY] New Gaming Pc

I want to play dota 2 , skyrim , minecraft , fallout , far cry 3 and other upcoming games like gta v and soon i'll be buying sims 4 .

I need some help making up a gaming rig .

There are two build option .

Option 1 : No Monitor
Option 2 : With Monitor

Please help me fill in the rig

Budget would be around $900-$1k

SLS would be cheaper unless you have got some online lobang that is cheaper than what is stated in the build, since the prices in the build is extracted directly from PC Themes' latest pricelist.

I suggest you just go to SLS and get it yourself. Unfortunately fortran is not free now. Don't know when he will be back

Can download the Windows .iso from Microsoft's website, put the .iso into a thumbdrive and use the thumbdrive as the Windows CD.

Yes, but in this case, the code is the Windows License key.

Well, if you do not use the DVD-RW frequently, you can choose to omit it from your build. There are some people here that have rigs that have no DVD-RW.

for my built, i did not want an internal optical drive.

you can buy/borrow one external one and connect it just for installing windows

or you can get internal one, plug it in, install liao. then remove

Dvd drive is like microsd card reader. Good to have and cheap but you will probably never use it.

Get Intel. AMD CPUs are just not worth the $$$ right now. If you want AMD, wait until 2016 for the Zen CPUs to come out.
