Hi guys,

Last night i fix up a pc. However when i tried to power on my system, it kept on for about 5 secs and off again. Keep on rebooting without showing any display on my monitor.

Im using dvi cable as im using a 144hz monitor. When i try to turn on again. I held tight onto the dvi cable that was attached to my monitor and display is on.

Im wondering whether is the dvi cable faulty? But my friend gave Me the cable and there was no problem when he was using it.

Anyone have face similar issue? Thanks.

1) Cable or hardware not connected properly.
2) Something is shorting.
3) Connector or motherboard slot is faulty.

Disconnect HDD,SDD,ODD and all card connect to PCIE slot.
Left only 1 stick of ram.

Diagnose, if symptom repeats, it might be one of the connected component.

I managed to enter bios upon a few attempts. And i do not have extra hdmi and dvi cable :( i tried to disconnect the cabling and resecure again but still the same problem.

Right now i have to held tight to the dvi cable that is connected to the monitor. Then the display will be shown
