Both monitor is just 2 weeks old. It dont happen often, only occasionally (Mayb 1-2 monthly).
Both PC and monitors had changed and tot it should be ok, but it happen once again few days ago.
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G
So what does ur new "PC" consists of?
The 5600G too?

Can always ask the shop u got from, since is new

Ram, CPU, Motherboard, SSD, fan, power supply, the only thing that i using from previous is 2 harddisk.
Basically all new including the case, except 2 harddisk.
My previous PC is also encountering the same issue, thats why i changed.

then might be software issues rather than hardware~

My 2 ram also new. Can u advise how to do memtest? Need to download any webiste?
yes u will need to download the iso from their website, then install it on a thumbdrive using rufus or ventoy. plug the thumbdrive into ur pc and restart it, then boot into bios where there should be an option for u to select booting from the thumbdrive, then u can immediately run the test.

if everything but the drives are new and still experiencing same issue, i would highly suspect the drives. have u started with a fresh install?
Oh so my igpu is sufficient for my usage (Surfing, watching show)?
more than enough.

Drive no fresh install. I will try the memtest, then mayb try to identify the drive. If come to worst, need to format the drive c will do right? Thanks alot

suggest u back up ur stuff onto another drive then format and fresh install, also disconnect ur old drives so ur only running the new ssd. if that one ok then one by one connect back ur old hdd. if not ok even when running all brand new parts, best to bring back to the shop u bought it from.

currently look at this build..

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero or Asus ROG Crosshair x870e hero or Rog crosshair x870e extreme

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 32GB (2x16GB) Cl_30+ or 64 GB?
PSU: Corsair RM1000x 1000W 80+ Gold or 1200W cpu?
Cooling: Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix 360mm AIO /

Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 ARGB

Case: Prefer white going for pure white build.

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 32GB

PSU: Corsair RM1000x 1000W 80+ Gold

Case: NZXT H510 Elite
make sure your ram timing is at least CL-30 to get max performance from your CPU
other than that, I see nothing wrong with this build
owh ya PSU maybe can go to 1200W since both ur CPU and GPU are so power hungry

Case due to 360mm AIO : got many options like LIAN LI LANCOOL 207 WHITE ARGB and DARKFLASH DPX90 BLACK TEMPERED GLASS ATX CASING [Not saying NZxt is bad but subpar]

Rmb metallike conductor will dispel heat temp on its own and your aio and computer fan will push out the rest. [Not contact frame]

Rmb that monitor is not cheap for quality LG-nanoips/QDled/OLED. Often a times, do include monitor as budget since is part of upgrading for insane value experience.

apart from the points mentioned above, these 2 parts i would swap out. corsair aios are among the worst for cooling am5 cpus, better performing ones like the arctic liquid freezer series cool significantly better at a much lower price point, making corsair irrelevant. the nzxt h510 elite is also an outdated model with poor airflow due to the glass front intake, so i would opt for other cases like mangocat mentioned or as suggested in the first post.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Should I swap ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero to Asus rog crosshair x870e hero? I might be going for pure white build..prefer a white casing. Ram should go for 64 gb or 32gb is good enough?

Really not sure for motherboard but i would go for wifi 7 boards since is available[and it is a wifi7].

64gb for your rig will be the best. [Should be 64gb vs 128gb] min CL32

Reason being, i will go windows 11 pro as well. (nothing to do with bottlenecking and more on unleash the beast/security measures)

since bottlenecking is like using am4 with am5 GPU tech.

Storage is impt too!

Great! any recommendation for storage? 500~1TB is enough for me.

I am fussy so 2 stick of WD Black 1TB or CRUCIAL P310 1TB. Honestly, is more of luxury and don't know if i am being old fashioned. Since my root of computing usage is from selling asus products in the past
1 for windows itself
1 for all others

Looking to replace my build from ~2017 so I'll be replacing the whole rig :)

Left some comments on the thought process behind some parts, don't really mind spending more if parts are good or if can get a white part hahahha

Would like some advice for the following (went through the Dynacore price list and selected on PC part picker to keep track):

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pMnDXR

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D 4.4 GHz 12-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240 56.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
  • Chose the cheapest X670E board I saw
  • Not sure if X870E is worth it since, according to this site, the difference is that USB 4.0 is mandatory
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws M5 RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
  • Not sure if 6400 + CL32 would be better, read that there isn't really much difference that can be felt
  • Read that 2 x 32 would be better than 4 x 16, as there is a harder time getting the 2 sets of 2 rams to work together
Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage: Western Digital Blue 2 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: MSI INSPIRE 3X OC GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB Video Card
  • Chose the cheapest 5080 that has price available
  • Understand that between aftermarket cards, the performance is largely the same
  • Would not mind adding abit more for better cooling
Case: NZXT H5 Flow (2024) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic VERTEX GX-850 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
  • Just chose the same brand as my current PC, is Gold rating enough?
  • Preference for Modular for better cable management.

Would appreciate any feedback, thank you :)

Ah, I initially chose 850W based on the total draw on pcpartpicker + 10%, is 1000w a safer buffer?

As for the case I changed the AIO to the 240 one :) but I am still looking around at cases, currently like the look of the H6 Flow

As for why not 9800X3D, I feel that I wanted more cores :ROFLMAO:

Probably going to use my computer for games, some video editing (as a hobby) and programming/ coding. Would the 9800X3D be better for that? or should I go for the 9950X3D?

i only gaming nia, so 9800X3D >9900X3D i think

PSU personally i go for above recommended gpu requirements~

but the NZXT H5 Flow cannot mount the 360mm top of case, i personally still prefer top AIO and case front fans

would suggest get those lego blocks fans to reudce wire management
