How do we evaluate "do better with similar pricing" when there's no pricing?

but in this economy have to go back to the roots of where this hobby came from & make the best of what you have

plan: revived old parts into a 'new' ddr4 / pcie 3.0 rig
theme: asus + noctua + corsair

old parts (from a friend, for an unbeatable price of foc)
- i7-9700K with a 5Ghz OC
- z390 hero
- 2 x 16gb corsair dd4 lpx 3200Mhz
- asus pg248 monitor

old parts (vintage from 2010s build)
- noctua fans
- corsair ax1200 psu
- corsair 256gb ssd
- wd greens 2 x 2tb
- corsair keyboard cherry mx red + mouse

old parts (2nd hand bought)
- strix 2080ti (core +120, samsung mem +1000)

new parts
- corsair 6500 case
- corsair nautilus 360 - in push/pull ;)
- 92cm fan bracket for gpu deshroud mod
- various fan extension cables (all fans ran off mobo)
- case screws / rubber fan mounts
- crucial 1tb p310

shout out to my brother raman at sls prime pc (honest guy, ive been parts for high end builds from him for decades)

bench:
177 fps, 4467 score - heaven 1080p 8xAA ultra quality extreme tesellation
160 fps, 6695 score - valley 1080p 8xAA extreme hd
38 fps, 5103 score - superposition 8k optimized

stable:
prime 95 small fft
furmark 2
occt vram

had a lot of fun building this, slowly sourcing the parts and planning out a max 2019 flagship build that still does ~100fps in games like rdr2, days gone, hzd remastered

build for the love of building..
