2. i cant find the noctua brand typs and price at the pricelist.

4. will have to try the Ti version length is enough room for the chassis.

I think you need to head down to CYbermind or Xtreme solutions to take a look. But, typical decent 120mm noctua fans start from $28 onwards.

Do check reviews for 750, 750ti, 270 and 270x. Use game's fps as a gauge, not those benchmarks numbers. Then, compare the prices locally. Decide which is more value worth.

I think most comfortable will be at 60 because 30 u will still see abit of jaggyness and as for budget I will say 1.2k is the most comfortable without monitor ofc

Hi guys,

can u please suggest a build without monitor, keyboard, mouse and OS that is between $1.2K to $1.4K?

Will a PC at this budget support 60 fps at high settings for modern games like Sims 4, Rome 2, Witcher, Metro Last Light? Just wanna set my expectations right since I can't break budget to ensure I get gear that definitely supports 60fps.

also, does GS refer to Nigel from PC Care & Solutions? Intend to pay him a visit :)

Buy at PC Themes, #04-15, and ask for discounts. DIY yourself. If you can't into DIY, go to PC Care & Solution at #02-32 and ask Nigel to help you assemble for a fee.

Notes:

This build can play Metro: Last Light at very high without SSAA smoothly but smooth gameplay is not guaranteed for Witcher 3.

bro, smooth gameplay not guaranteed for Witcher 3 is referring to "very high" settings?

If so I will have to live with the disappointing graphics (in my own opinion) but the storyline/gameplay should make up for it :)

Anyone uses internal blu-ray oem drives? Thinking of getting one to make this setup my HTPC

The disclaimer only applies to playing Witcher 3 at maximum graphics settings in 1080p.

You may not want to get a blu-ray player as blu-ray playback on computers have problems playing audio and you will need a certain Asus soundcard that is EOL to hear blu-ray audio properly.

Bro will the build you suggested be able to pass audio through hdmi to TV/receiver with blu-Ray drive?

No. You wont get sound from it if you wanna direct play it from disc.

To play back sound, such as DTSHD or Dolby TrueHD you will need a couple of things to work together in order to playback the sound.

*Reason, Bluray sound are encrypted in within the disc, and only a standalone player can decrypt it out. Normal Bluray Driver for PC do not have build in decrypt. Thus unable to play sound directly unless it is pass down to other external means.

1) GPU that has a HDMI sound pass thru
2) AVR with DTSHD or DTHD coder
3) AVR must have HDMI
4) A player such as XMBC

And lastly a few things you can choose from.

1) A EOL Asus HDAV 1.3 Sound card. This is the only soundcard in market and a surviving coy that has HDMI sound pass thru.

OR

2) You will need a external DAC that can pass thru the sound signal from the GPU to the speakers.

OR

3) Not directly playing from the disc, but to rip the entire bluray into the HDD. And playback from HDD.

OR

4) You can playback by using special license software such as Slysoft to decode the sound from the disc.

Wa... That's complicated.. :s22: no wonder the bros here don't seem to recommend installing blu-ray drives for DIY
