MSI X370 Gaming Plus
Ryzen 5 2600
Corsair Vengeance 2666MHz 16GB
ZOTAC GTX1660 6GB


Re-use:
Seasonic M12II 520w
Intel 530 180GB

Please wait for Ryzen 3rd generation coming out 7th July worldwide, might be available on 2nd week of July in SG.

Go for Ryzen 3600 + B450 board or X470 if you can..
should have better support for latest processors with BIOS update.

Go for at least 3200 MHz kit of RAM...

And if you do play games, go for 1660 Ti. 520w is enough.

No need X motherboard unless you intend to overclock

Ram get 3200mhz, ryzen 2xxx get more performance with faster ram, buy from oversea, is cheaper
Not sure about ram effect on 3xxx, need wait benchmark test

get 1660 ti, the ti performance is...pretty big difference from non-ti...the cost diff is reasonable. you can squeeze more budget by getting cpu and ram from oversea

Newegg has free shipping to sg. No tax as long as below 400. Can be considered for cpu as that has international warranty for both the blue and red team.

Went to Amazon and keyed in an ATX casing, H500, after adding in the shipment fee, price not far from Sim Lim. Seem like only small size item the shipment fee is lower.

you can currently get 2*8gb 3200mhz ram for $100, shipping included from newegg

as for cpu, the price varies according to available sales and market conditions though no matter how much it varies, even at the worst price (for this year), it is slightly cheaper than local price including shipping. of course, it is best to get it when there are sales and i believe there would be sales for older gen when ryzen 3000 hit the market

U do realise the bigger the item, the more ex it will be to ship over? Besides, everyone here recommends shipping ssd, ram, cpu and gpu from overseas. No one has recommended cases though.

Is it worth it to get the rams from taobao?was thinking of a build with ryzen 3 maybe at the end of the yr,is cosair the recommended one for ryzen or any brand will do?
