[DIY] Upgrading system

Hi people , helping my friend ask some question regarding his dell inspiron 660s .
Specs are :
Processor : i5 3330s
Ram : 4GB
Gpu : Gt620

My friend was wondering if it is possible to upgrade only the gpu
If not possible , Which of the parts can be reused , and which needa be changed with a budget of $800

ur recommendation cannot fit in the rig unless change chassis also

e casing onli can use single slot LP card
power supply is 220w tfx form factor
only have 1 3.5" slot for hdd

On a side note , isit ok if my friend builds a new com with $800 , isit possible ?
he is thinking about amd fx-6300 .
Will the price be worth the performance ?

Honestly I think the i3 performs about on par or faster.

What I did last time for my sister's dell is to transplant the mobo and cpu to a new case and change everything else.

I also prefer intel and recommanded him to reuse his old mb plus intel core i5 but he die die wan amd

Can get a Crucial m550 128gb ssd @ $85 from other shop..reuse his hdd and OS
