DIY vs Branded pc

Finally i replaced this Lenovo i700 25 isih pc with a diy pc. This pc have power supplyl design problems with only 6 pins and 400 watts power supply to the mainboard compare to a 16 pins power supply for dity pc.

If you just replace the 400w power supply, then should be no problem, right ?

if ur new pc is diy, how come u didnt choose the proper PSU?

i think what TS means is there r only 4+6 pins cables from the psu.
forward to 8:00 see the 4+6 pins and mb...

It's a lenovo (idea centre 700 25ish).

I'm using a corsair vs550 power supply for my diy pc.

i think what TS means is there r only 4+6 pins cables from the psu.

Both the mainboard and psu power supply are 6pins.But the power supply of the mainboard and the psu of diy pc have 16pins.

it reminds me of an industrial mobo that I have purchased recently, it only has a 2 pin for 5V DC input. and I had to make custom cable.
