How come if buy from dji sg need to pre-order and wait for 30 days so long… it’s not even a new launch. got other alternatives anot?

probably drop ship..local distributor don't keep stock.. Even for my Insta360 x3 warranty replacement had to wait 2 weeks.

searched bing can't find thread for osmo mobile. in china @ their store om6 cny 499 yuan now with tripod (maybe, likely to stay @ that price after 11/11)

I added TGSP for both lens and touch screen, just in case. Of course, if you dropped it, more likely the gimbal will be the first to go

i would like to ask... if anyone tried to do a motion timelapse... on a moving rail?

as in you set up the time lapse to start point at A and end to point at B. Then i have the whole thing on a rail, that is moving from left to right.

will the camera be still able to point at end point B?

I'm only using for personal travel videos, not professional work. Not too concerned about "quality", I haven't gone through the my footage on a big screen yet after my 1st trip using it. I will share it once I'm free I don't use silicone case, only a backpack holster so I can access it easily on the move.

i am aware... but i dont have one... so i want to use the pocket 3 as the panning option... i want to know if it can be able to end at exactly the point i want when it goes from left to right...

hm... maybe i should start at left side of the slider.. point to A. then move the camera to right side of slider and point to B.

If u shoot plenty of vids esp vlog , the microphone will definitely come handy.

Depending on ur use case, the batt runs dry fast ( though charging is brisk too ) the additional batt is good addition.

If u purchase them separately the cost will be higher than the combo.

If u dun foresee requiring the above then the standard should be fine.

I used it for my Seoul trip in Oct. Built in battery definitely cannot last 8 to 8 , I had to top up with power bank at least once. Sometimes I wish they made the bottom portion detachable so can hotswap battery ( not talking about the additional battery accessory )

Is it easy to edit on mobile phone? Thinking to get one for my coming Europe trip.
I hv the insta360x4 which does great but I think its very "exposed" to use it in Europe.
Dji3 is more discreet and can strap to my body. Shopee store still has a 3 mths wait time.
After launching 1 yr plus still so low in stock?

You buy this if you want the best image quality and stabilisation in low light. EIS is currently still not good enough in this respect. You can download and try the DJI free editing app to see if to works for you.

Ace pro 2, osmo action 5 pro, pocket 3 are all better than the latest hero and maybe iphone.

Dji's lens flare might be ugly to some.
