hi guys,

i understand that the 323 supports only ext2 filesystem. with that, it will only support up to 2gb of file size for 1 file right?

does that means that anything bigger than 2gb, i will not be able to transfer it?

fat32 is 4gb

ntfs dont have this problem.

negative. that's incorrect.

ext2 supports up to 32-64TB per FILE.

No, you should not use Jumbo Frame. Your entire network environment need to support Jumbo Frames, even then it may be iffy. Gigabit refers to wired only, Wireless nowhere near GE yet.

323 - yes,
655 - yes
Wireless - N/A

Even on wired Gigabit, if there are adapters that do not support Jumbo Frame, it wont work.
Small issue - transfer speed fall.
Big issue - cannot connect unless reset.

Thanks for your reply MarineX and Sigh. Haha. Does clarify my doubts. No wonder jumbo frames is disable at default.

Anyways, there wont be any probs leaving the unit running 24 hrs daily rite. Although my fan does come on many times a day.
