not even 1 year lar

it is precisely that USD weakens that cost of material goes up especially since these manufacturing plant is not in the united states

and.. previously china has blizzard and snow storm which make their production plant unable to start production

and cost of oil price goes up which added increase to shipment cost and material cost

not to mention now china got earthquake...

Actually, the price has come down a lot within the last one year... it started at $300+ or more.

No limitation to the capacity of hdds used?
the nas is just like your computer...

the only limitation is that it must be a sata harddisk..

if you are asking this kind of question, try to ask yourself if you really need it and if you know how to use it after you bought it.

Not really lah, there are USB casings that cannot support more than 500GB. It is a valid concern.

DNS-323 has tested to work for 1TB HDD. Dunno can work for any bigger HDD than that. It is a good device. Using it with 2x500GB now. I am tempted to get a 2nd one. But price must be good. Too bad I am going to miss the next PC show. :(

W/o asking its storage capacity limitation how do i noe if i need it & use it to harness my 2 x WD10EACS .. was comparing it to Thecus N299 which states "Two 3.5” SATA hard disk bays enable up to 1TB of storage capacity", while Dlink official none stated ... :s8:
