the nas is just like your computer...
the only limitation is that it must be a sata harddisk..
if you are asking this kind of question, try to ask yourself if you really need it and if you know how to use it after you bought it.
W/o asking its storage capacity limitation how do i noe if i need it & use it to harness my 2 x WD10EACS .. was comparing it to Thecus N299 which states "Two 3.5” SATA hard disk bays enable up to 1TB of storage capacity", while Dlink official none stated ...the nas is just like your computer...
the only limitation is that it must be a sata harddisk..

Exactly wat i wan to know b4 purchase ... mayb some1 is fine buyin it @ $2xx and realise it does not support the hdd capacity sizeNot really lah, there are USB casings that cannot support more than 500GB. It is a valid concern.
DNS-323 has tested to work for 1TB HDD. Dunno can work for any bigger HDD than that. It is a good device. Using it with 2x500GB now. I am tempted to get a 2nd one. But price must be good. Too bad I am going to miss the next PC show.![]()
