DNS-323 Network Storage

Sorry I am not too sure about the wireless bridge. So what does it do? Sry a bit noob here. Cause tryign to set up a wireless home network with storage for my new home.

Ah ic. Thanks a lot. So I gathered I can just get the dns-323 and dir-655 to set up the wireless storage cum network and the other devices can just tap into the network & storage.

yup u are right

connect dns-323 to any wireless router and the rest of the computer can access dns-323 wirelessly through the wireless router

but wireless speed still loose to gigabit wired connection

it doesn't support NTFS partition though as it is not natively supported by linux. DNS-313 supports NTFS though.

Yeap. I find of like the DNS-323 more as I place swap and commonly accessed files (fonz's fun_plug) on a USB thumbdrive and it actually reduces disk access. Random access is faster!

BitTorrent problem need help..

Hi..users

I need your help my DNS-323 setup for the BitTorrent,
have done all the setting still no luck of downloading it.My
router is a NetGear DG834GT and very puzzle me why is it
still no downloading at all. Would there anyone out there
could help me out..thanks.

remember to change the default port from 6881 to some other port and do port forwarding

if u dunno how to do port forwarding, call your router's helpdesk
