Hi,

I install transmission on dns323 but noticed that downloading is extremely slow
When i check with transmission remote, i get
The incoming port on your daemon is closed

How can i open it?

do i have to specify a port number when i telnet into my NAS? any config setting i got to set?

i tried to telnet but it says it fails to do so.

telnet isnt default.

you need to use funplug to add it.

I have a external hard drive which i want to transfer it contents to the DNS 323. I connect the hardrive to the upnp and try to find in the set up portal a way of accessing the contents,but to no avail. Can somebody kindly explain to me what i should do?

ok..figure out.just use the shareport utility and enable it..cheers

I'm a newbie in NAS, I've connect my DNS-343 NAS to my router & I've map my HDD, basically I can see my HDD in my desktop PC. How am I gonna access my NAS HDD with my laptop? Is there any config that I need to do on my NAS? Pls advice......

Anbody has interruptions when streaming movies to ps3or any media box wirelessly.is it just me cause I always got interruption after 20 mins or so.any particular settings I shld take note of?

anyone with a spoilt button (ie my NAS cannot be switched on/off, must lift the cover to access the internal switch)...

any advise??
