Do i need heat sink / cooling ?

I am using silverstone fortress FT02 casing, it has 5 build in cooling fans.

I am going to re-build the pc with new hardwares, i am unsure if i need any water cooling or whatsoever.

Can i know, what determines the need of cooling ?

If i am planning to get gtx 1080 gpu & 32gb ram, defintely i will need?

Water cooling can be a bit tricky if u didn't look for water leakage b4 fixing it up. And off there is also chances of leakage during of your usage, which could DMG your components as well.

As for what determines will be if u gonna OC your CPU, have a silent system (even though fanless system will be ideal, but u need a passive cooling components), or want to just cool down your CPU.

Depends on your usage. Do you really need 32GB of ram? What genre (FPS, MOBA) of games are you playing? Give us some titles so we can help you. What is your monitor resolution? Are you gaming on 4K, or just 1080p monitor? Do you use high refresh rate monitor?

You may need gsync monitor since you getting 1080. But why need 32gb ram?

I am on a normal S2340L 24" Monitor.. and planning play GTA 5 sort of games.

All computer processors need cooling, what talking you?

Regardless of the cheapest Intel Pentium series processor to the most expensive highest end i7 6950X.

yes , desktop cpu need heatsink ... because they run at 40 to 90 watt at maximum workload ... this is much more heat output than a phone

are you doing overclocking? if so, you would have some idea of radiators, do some reading to determine your needs.

for normal desktop usage, heatsink fans are 100% necessary as mentioned above. However, to upgrade the stock heatsinks into a larger heatsink cooler will depend again on your overclock needs. Basic cooler can be purchased, cryorig H5/H7 can suit your needs, or higher ends like Corsair H110i for better cpu cooling.

Other cooling, gpu cooling and ram cooling, are these even necessary for your use? For regular use, desktops does not need water cooling, thus its only for enthusiasts or for extreme OC performance. Ram cooling imo is a gimmick, gains are far better from using faster ram sticks and stacking up to 128GB if really needed.
