Do I Need To Buy Thermal Paste ?

let's say i get a Sim Lim shop to assemble a desktop......do i need to buy the thermal paste too ?

Is it from Sim Lim Square or Caurosell?
If SLS anything you can ask them, Caurosell wise hard to say.

If u use stock HS, it already come pre applied with thermal paste. If you buy other heatsink, they should be using the thermal paste that comes with the HS.

from Sim Lim.......i all along buy those Acer type of pc.......so now DIY type clueless mah.......

u can use toothpaste if no thermal paste, when I was a student I did this for 1 day.

Best use Thermal paste cuz Toothpaste are not thermal conductive.

i got a lot of thermal paste lying around, got tube got packet. no idea how to get rid of them since i already have a tube of decent quality, so if u want i can give for free.
