Do normal video calls use up data on subscription plan?

Does video calls use up data on the subscription plan? I am referring to the normal video calls we make by entering the person's number.

I am not referring to video calls made through Whatsapp and other apps.

Please enlighten me.

If you are referring to 4G video call, then its not chargeable but deducted from your bundled airtime. If its made through FB, WhatsApp etc, then its chargeable on your bundled data.

I'm not too sure for Apple FaceTime though, I believe, and I think its based on local airtime instead of data bundle.. but you gotta check on this yourself to confirm.

Facetime uses cellular data, not airtime.
