DO NOT BUY the Applecare+ from Singtel.

It is coming to a week after paying at the ComCenter and there is NO confirmation, NO updates of the iPhone X's Applecare status. Seems that Singtel is just getting customers to pay on the spot in the name of convenience and then do seemingly NOTHING to register, or simply just taking their own sweet time. I was told that I will receive a email confirmation within 2 working days, until now, NOTHING.

Called Singtel 1688 and they told me to wait patiencely as the poor CSO also cannot do anything.

Called Apple SGP and logged a ticket, they also cannot do anything as they need the Apple Care agreement number which was not given or written on the Singte receipt. However, Apple SGP told me that they will honor it as I have sent them the receipt of the Apple Care. They will follow up with me in the next 2 weeks again.

I saw your email and went back to check my order with singtel. I was quite sure I opted for Apple care. To my horror, my order did not reflect Apple care and calling Singtel, I really give up with their customer service. In the end, went in Apple website, bought the Apple care online. Case close. Don’t know why singtel missed my Apple care. Or maybe you I missed. Lol.

Not surprising, once you paid the money, certain Telco will treat you like ****. Been there before until my complaints made known to the old IDA, only this certain Telco admit its mistake.

Basically what I mean is, certain Telco lacked personal touch in a service oriented industry. If you know what I mean, certain telco owned by foreign investors, certain local investors. Certain all centers are manned by foreigners, certain by locals. Those by foreigners, thumbs up, those by locals, thumbs down. Not shitting on fellow Singaporeans, but the quality of customer service is lacking from locals based on my user experience with the 3 major players

It extends the warranty period to a total of 2 years and offers subsidised reporting cost related to accidental damages..

Actually i know the benefits got dent they will repair at $300+
Screen replacement $148
But the apple care itself is $368 :
Total costs of repair is already $500+ for screen
So i don't know if it's worth it

If no AC+, it will be 418 for screen and 828 for any other damage, do the math and you know whether worth it not.

Don't forget after one year you can still resell it with ONE more year of warranty - can fetch a higher price.
