Good luck.
Or are u one of the crones they hire to stir up interest.
Save the few dollars in comission but lose Ur capital, worth it or not?
Penny wise pounds foolish.

say whatever you want and I no need to prove anything to your sarcastic personality. We just share info here. You can choose any brokers you feel 'safe' enough to put your money in, who cares

There no fees to transfer SGD out right?

How long does it take to receive funds?

Transfer in is fast, I remember next day but since I did this Sunday so could be same day. Transfer out takes quite a while, I placed request Sunday and keep chasing then until Thur in.

Wow my withdrawal only took few hours only. Not sure why it took so long for yours.

There is a SGD$5 withdrawal fee for every withdrawal out to Sg bank

I dun think so. When I try to withdraw there no fees for SGD. The $5 might be for receiving bank charges?

Edited: can confirm no charges for withdrawal for DBS account as I did a partial withdrawal and receive the full amount via FAST transfer in 2hrs.

I think someone else mentioned before that he incurred bank charges during the withdrawal as well. But to be safe, if use the local banks (DBS/UOB/OCBC), shouldn't incur any additional charges.

That’s interesting.. Maybe I shouldn’t have linked my SCB bank to them and use DBS instead. Will definitely try adding a new bank when withdrawing this time, hopefully it works.

Just curious, was yours a very large sum of withdrawal? How did you have to chase for it?

I withdrew 5k SGD a few weeks before and it only took 2 hours I think. I did the withdrawal on a weekday evening, not sure if that helps.

Can someone summarize how does it compare to using UOB/DBS for local stocks and SCB for US stocks?

Summary: Cheap, like really cheap. But reputation of the broker is up in the air, do your due diligence and weigh your risks.

Finally official launch of SGX trading...

I am quite excited for this, because it finally brings some long overdue competition to the brokerage industry.

Sick and tired of brokers charging so much when everything is executed by computers and not a single human. If they can implement CDP, really game over for the other brokers.

Hope this causes a Robinhood effect like in the US and everyone benefits from lower commission rates across the board. Let's see how the other brokers will react.
