What I have learnt also depends on where the person born in.

For example, there's a story about someone who has same bazi as 关羽 but different type of life. 关羽 was a general but that person don't have such life but working as bazi consultant.

As there's a saying 生于北方出神入将 生于南方与我同行

The problem with many modern author is they will interpret thing in their own words and it get twisted. Some do it intentionally some unintentionally for various reasons.

That's why I always say if you want to seriously learn please learn from those Chinese books, published by respected author or traditional doctrine.

when we generate a chart for someone in southern and northern hemisphere, both share same chart for the same day, but obviously someone live in Beijing and Melbourne will be under two extreme different climate (season).

So a chart in December for someone in Bejing is in winter but again the same chart for someone in Melbourne, where it is summer.

How you manage such difference?

The timing issues complicates more when there is daylight savings in place . different state different savings. some states recent yrs remove Day Light Savings (DST)
