Frankly I don't see the need for a 3rd party cooler unless you are over clocking and your stock cooler cannot take the extra heat.
I have been using my Al cheapo coolermaster tx3 from the core 2 duo days and now sandy bridge. idle temps around 40c and load temps(prime 95) around 95c which is a little warm but still safe. Typical gaming temps around 75c. So a cheap budget cooler is seriously all you need.
