Do u think Lion City Sailors can defend their 3-goal lead to eliminate J-League powerhouse Sanfrecce Hiroshima at Jln Besar next week?

LCS very very lucky to be awarded the 3-0 win and now they scrape past their mightier opponent. Even with 1 man down, Sanfrecce keep dominating the game

This is not a matter of luck, it is really an elementary error to field a suspended player in the game, especially if it is a bigger club. :s22:

I cannot imagine how LCS going to face the next opponent, it will be either Aussie or Korean team

Izwan really cannot make it. Should have save the free kick.

Never like him, lack of confidence look and always blame his defenders.

Well not long ago Madrid under Benitez fielded their player in the Cup who played for another team whilst on loan
Madrid was arguably the biggest club in the world.

They got kicked out

That's why it shouldn't happen to a bigger club, where they often have a dedicated person to keep track of who is suspended and who is not so that no one makes the mistake of fielding a suspended player.

Precisely

Rafa wasn't sacked immediately
And not sure is it club's job to monitor and not him and his team
But he was sacked and I think this was weighed against him

I suppose ultimate it is the responsibility of the manager/coach if such mistakes occur, but often they will appoint one of their assistants to keep track of the suspensions.

Well Madrid is so big Institutionally they certainly should know all the ins and outs of not only their own competition but requirements of the national teams and how FIFA rules affect them
And NOT rely on their own new managers to teach them.

I recall Ed Woodward was real green and it was King Louis who taught him the ins and outs to F the national associations who tried to play with him and United

King Louis of course been on both sides and knew all the tricks
But that didn't save him the sack later though
